So...there's this boy...he stoled my heart 9 1/2 yrs ago and I fall more in love with him every single day. He makes me laugh, is so sweet I could cry, and is a brilliant boy. I have, since the day he was born, known how very lucky I am that he is mine.

We currently learned of some struggles that my boy is facing and while I am not comfortable sharing just yet I would like to ask if you read my blog that you keep my sweet J in your thoughts, send him prayers and keep him on your good vibes lists!

Music. It makes my heart happy to listen to music. No matter what my mood is I can listen to music and find a reason to smile. Today I listened to my iPod until it died. That is a lot of music. My iPod has 1285 songs on it currently which according to iTunes is about 3 1/2 days worth of music if you listen to it 24 hours a day. Wow. The funniest part is I have the most random music taste. I have Wilson Phillips, Eminem, The Carpenters, N'Sync, Rascal Flatts, etc...and yes, folks-this picture was taken while listening to a little Paula Abdul.

So, I guess the point of this post is to say I am thankful that music makes my soul happy!

I had one of those "Come to Jesus" moments today...a sweet friend knows how heavy my heart has been over some personal issues and she prayed with me and spoke this verse over me. It gave me chills and made me feel so peaceful about the road that lies ahead.

Our family are huge music fans...we all have iPods, mp3 players or some form of music that is all our own. Well today started a new chapter in our lives...J can now make his own music! :0) Let the fun begin! (Anyone have earplugs? lol!)

So today I spent ALL DAY working on some stuff with my sweet girl. We made LOTS of jewelry. Here is a picture of the stuff we made today alone. This child is spoiled to have a Mommy who thinks she needs earrings, bracelets, etc. that match every single outfit! ;)

So, I've been suffering from a case of the sickies lately and that has given me a case of the grumpies! (As S would say, lol!) So I am "looking on the bright side" and finding my joy today. I got these beautiful flowers for Valentines Day & they made me smile today. :0)

I love deer...and there are so many around here these days. I am a lucky girl to live in the area I do because I have access to lots of beautiful things. And nothing clears my head as quickly as being in nature and taking pictures!

Melting. The only thing worse than snowing! ;) Well, I LOVE melting but I also hate the fact that all the streets are flooded and they are bumpy and nasty. But that means we are one step closer to spring!! I will take it!!

So, my oldest wears glasses. And he truly wears them down. I have no idea how a kid can go thru so many pairs but alas that would be our life! :0) Today my beautiful son got his newest pair of glasses...ain't he handsome?!

My children went to the dentist last night~the 8th~and got these glasses out of the treasure chest for doing so well. Made me giggle that they picked matching Sunglasses (or as S & I call them--"Shades") so I did a small photo shoot. This is totally hanging up on my wall someday! ;)

You know how some photos just remind you so clearly of that moment? Well, I think this photo will always be that kind of photo. We take our daughter, who loves horses, to see these horses every month at least. They are just some random horses--no idea who owns them, etc. But they LOVE S. As soon as she starts walking toward the gate they come running over. We call her the "horse whisperer". When it was time to go today the horses didn't want S to leave. So they kept nudging her neck and giving her "horse kisses". It was so sweet. I almost cried watching my daughter laugh with true joy. She has such a passion for horses and I hope that carries over forever...

I always enjoy afternoons of pure laziness and snuggle time with my baby boy. I have been so busy lately with working on orders that I sometimes forget what is important. This is it. This little boy who calls me Momma. This little boy who sings me Sugarland every single day. (You & me, baby-we're stuck like glue!) This little boy who thinks someday he really will travel to infinity and beyond...life is blessed.

I am always amazed at the beauty that is at my doorstep. My daughter is a huge fan of horses and she is currently planning her first big girl room design. She is doing a pretty cool horse design. So I've been taking lots of pictures of horses I see so I can enlarge a few to hang on her walls. This one was taken today and I LOVE it. I love how free horses are. And how delicate they can be. I love watching my daughter "talk" to horses. I love to watch her look at them and smile. Such a wonderful thing...

I have a happy life. I really do. But sometimes during the winter months it is hard to find that happiness. When you are stuck inside & can't get out of your driveway, etc it kinda sorta sucks. So today while my oldest was gone and my youngest was snoozing I went outside with my middle child...I let her use my new camera (1st time ever!) and this is what she shot. She found something pretty in all the gloom outside!

The best part of snow and icky weather is seeing it from the eyes of a child. We were just going to pick up some branches, etc. that fell from the weight of the snow but the kids seemed to think a snowman building marathon was a better use of our time. And then a snowball fight. And then frozen fingers, etc. caused us to get our butts in the house! :0) But man what a fun day!!

I love my "Mommy & I" days with my youngest. The older 2 are in school full time so we get to spend lots of quality time just he & I. Today we drew pictures. And by we I mean he drew them and then told me to copy him. I guess he thought I needed his help. ;) I love my little man and thank God daily for the unexpected miracle that he is!

First month of blogging down, 11 more to go! :0) Today was bitterly cold (AGAIN) so I didn't leave the house. Thankfully I have beauty in my front yard. (And seriously, winter lovers--you are weird. We have had 40 inches of snow this winter; yesterday & today it has been -40 degrees in the morning...I am hoping the groundhog sees his shadow tomorrow!!)
