Happy Fathers Day to all the daddies out there...and to all the step-daddies who have made the choice to raise children that they have no obligation to. It always brings me joy to see really good dads.
Today for Fathers Day the kids went fishing with Brian. And Little Man caught his 1st fish! A good time was had by all!

I've made far too many posts lately about the rain. But we're still getting it. Blah. There are areas that are not covered in water that are supposed to be dry. Its nice to get moisture but COME ON! Enough is enough.

Our state is flooding and sadly it doesn't seen the national media cares. There are entire towns being washed away...homes being flooded, etc. So tragic.

Our daughter (who's 6) always has the funniest comments about things. Today we brought our Roxy Doodles home from being spayed and S asked me what that meant. I said they took out her girlie parts. So a few minutes later S was telling her little brother, I, that Roxy was now a boy because they took all her girlie parts! LOL. Kids. Always make the day brighter!
