Life can sometimes be...overwhelming. There are times even when you think you have it all together that bring you to your knees. I am in one of those crazy fogs lately...feeling like every single time I stand up something else kicks my booty. But I am not letting it keep me down. I am seeing the roses among the thorns...these sweet roses always remind me that no matter what is going on, no matter what I face as long as these people are ok I am fine. As long as they feel loved, safe, happy...I am good.

Three day weekend! Woo Hoo!! We spent the day being lazy. Just watching movies, etc. and enjoying the warm house. And this is what I did...played Tetris on my cell phone! Haha. I play 40 lines and try to beat my record each time. B makes fun that I run out my battery playing it every day! Yep, I am addicted!

I was going to make sure the door was locked the other night before I went to bed & would you believe there was a deer in my yard? And we don't live in the woods, lol. It scared the crap out of me. And I believe I returned the favor! Haha. Tonight I drove and within a block of my house I saw this. I guess I didn't scare it too badly!

So I have 2 sons and 1 daughter...when you have kids you are always being told who they look like. When you are a part of my husbands family it is usually someone on his side, lol.

Anyway, I've heard for almost 10 years that my kids look like everyone under the sun. I say--since I am the only one who sees them every single day--that I am the best judge. Haha! My oldest looks like both of us, but leans more toward his Dad. My middle child, and only girl, looks exactly like me as a kid. Its a little weird! And my baby boy looks like both of us and still hasn't really gotten to look more like his dad or I. Children are a mix of their familes...So, todays pic is a photo of mu daughter today & a pic of me at about 4 yrs old...see the resemblance? :0)

Geesh. I went and told you all that we had sidewalks & now today it is snowing hard & they are done again!! Snow. Its like once a little comes it multiplies! I am moving to Hawaii!! :0)

I live for little notes, pictures, etc. from my children. They always make me smile. Every single school paper of my daughters come homes with "I love my mom" written somewhere on it. And I still carry the 1st "I love Mom" that my oldest wrote 6 years ago. Today S drew this picture of a horse & a cowboy. LOL. So sweet. This made my day...

This is short & sweet. Easy to see what made my day today! SIDEWALKS! Haha. If you don't live in Chinook you have no idea how long we've waited to see the sidewalks! But there they are. Beautiful gray sidewalks, lol! (And side note--we are supposed to get 6 inches of snow by Tuesday, haha!)

My life is made better every single day by my children. There isn't anything so big that can't be fixed with their laughter and smiles. My day was made today by this sweet girl. She & I were driving around and she said "momma let me out so you can take some pictures of me" mostly because she wanted to get out & pick up rocks. LOL. She collects rocks, names them & acts like they're the most amazing find ever. Haha! So little does she know that I am on to her but I guess any reason to take pictures! Love this child!

Happy St. Patricks Day! I was pinched several times by the kids because I did not wear green! Haha!

We took a peaceful drive and saw all the flooding that is happening because of the snow melt. Glad the snow is gone but sad flooding is becoming an issue!

I read this quote today and this is exactly what I pray for my boys...I know I am raising good boys but I want to raise good men. And it works out great that this made my day because I took this great photo of J today that made my day even better!

Some days I just feel so blessed to know these people. Well, all days--but some days it takes my breath away. J is so funny and has his own little way about doing things...S is a hoot and does not take anyones crap! She is so loving. And I is the performer. He loves to be in the spotlight and to be making everyone laugh. They are all 3 the best kiddos! How lucky am I?!

(Btw, my laptop is still funky so I have to wait my turn to use Brian's. :0) If posts are late blame him! ha ha!)

Another cheat day...I am occasionally allowed to do that! Some days my day is just about something that I can't take a picture of...like today.

My day is about remembering. Remembering my sweet Aunt Debi who died 7 years ago today. Seven years is a long time...I never got to tell her that I was pregnant for the 2nd time when she died...and that the baby was a little girl who loves horses just like she did. But I will always remember my Aunt Debi and the letters she'd write me...her handwriting was so different. You could spot something she wrote from a mile away. I will remember how she laughed. I will remember how she loved her animals. I will remember how she hugged like she really meant it.

My day is about hope. I am hopeful that my Aunt Debi is sitting in a field of grass in heaven watching her horses eat and run around. I am hopeful that she has a peaceful smile as she enjoys the life she has now. I am hopeful that she forgave me for not coming and seeing her before she died...I am hopeful that all the times I go to her grave and pull weeds while telling her about life...I hope she hears.

My day is about love. I loved my Aunt Debi and while I am thankful she didn't have to suffer any longer I will always miss her. And I will always love her. I will always be thankful for the place she had in my life.

My sweet S has been sick for the last 2 days so she took a bubble bath today and I thought it was too cute how she kept putting her toes under the water. She is a hoot. And I am a lucky Mommy!

Today is a cheat day! My 1st nephew has a birthday today!! So here is a picture of him doing what he loves the best--playing football! Happy 14th Birthday to the sweetest boy I know. March!! That means spring is coming!! It has no choice!! :0) I have a feeling that Montana will have snow for some time to come but I am sure thankful that winter can't stay forever. This winter has taken its toll on me...I am a grump lately because I am ready for some SUNSHINE! On the plus side--at least the snow is pretty...sorta! ;)

*Side note--my laptop is being a pain so the next few days worth of posts may be late...hopefully I get the darn thing fixed!!

Jack Frost can pack his bags and leave Montana! I am so ready to see some green grass and leaves on trees!! I am ready for being able to stand outside and still feel my fingers! :0) Soon...soon...soon! Spring, please come soon! But if you can't at least I get to have fun watching my kids enjoy the snow!
