Welcome!

As the new year is about to be here I am reminded of all the things I always want to change but don't. So, this blog is a gift to myself more than anything.
For a very long time I have been passionate about photography...the moments you wish you could capture forever. I have thought for a long time that I'd like to start a blog about the world around me but fear, anxiety, doubt, etc. have always crept in and made me second guess myself. All of that is over. I am doing it. If no one reads it, fine. I will be happy no matter what the outcome is.
But...here is the goal. I am going to post a photo daily and explain to you all why it mattered to that day. Each day you will get to see a person, place or thing that explains the day I had. Each photo will be taken THAT day. I guess its a silly way for me to share with you all what makes me "me". The things that made me smile, or made me cry. The people who make me happy, or make me pull my hair out. :0) So, please come back often and get to know me on a different level.

And side note--just wanted to explain my logo for my photos. I am a super geeky Auntie who adores the people my sisters have made almost as much as I adore the people I've made. :0) Each of my 3 kids, 6 nephews & 2 nieces are a dot...so 11 dots in my logo. Each of them mean so much that I had to make them apart of my work.
